About This Project
Betopick needed a platform that could handle massive daily traffic spikes when major football fixtures are published, while serving thousands of users personalised tips across multiple bookmakers. Pilloweb built a PHP/MySQL platform with an AI-assisted tip generation engine, multi-bookmaker booking code integration, and an editorial CMS for expert tipsters.
The Challenge
Traffic spikes 10x on match days. The previous platform would crash under load, causing users to lose confidence and go to competitors.
Our Solution
A caching-first architecture with Redis, CDN-delivered static assets, and database query optimisation that keeps page loads under 1 second even under peak load.
