About This Project
TalentFirst HR was manually screening hundreds of CVs per week, creating a bottleneck that stretched time-to-hire to 3 weeks. Pilloweb built an OpenAI-backed platform that parses uploaded CVs, scores each candidate against the job description using NLP similarity, ranks shortlists automatically, and triggers interview calendar invites via Google Calendar API. A candidate success prediction model trained on historical hire data further refines the shortlist.
The Challenge
HR teams were spending 60% of their time on CV screening — a low-value task that delayed their ability to engage top candidates who were accepting competing offers.
Our Solution
An automated CV scoring pipeline: upload JD → ingest CVs → NLP scoring → ranked shortlist → one-click interview scheduling. The whole process now takes minutes instead of days.
