About This Project
Meridian Financial Services was running aging on-premise servers that were becoming a compliance and reliability liability. Pilloweb executed a phased AWS migration: assessment, environment provisioning with Terraform, data migration, application containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline setup via GitHub Actions. The final cut-over happened on a planned maintenance window with zero customer-facing downtime.
The Challenge
The institution could not afford any service interruption during migration, and had strict CBN data residency and security requirements that had to be maintained throughout.
Our Solution
A parallel-run strategy: new AWS environment provisioned and tested for 6 weeks while legacy systems remained live. Automated data sync kept both environments consistent until cut-over.
